ACGG Education Foundation Mission:

To increase learning within the custom gun field by offering scholarships and presenting educational opportunities and materials.

The American Custom Gunmakers Guild Education Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable educational foundation, was formed in 2006, as an affiliate of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild, Inc.

The Foundation is managed by a seven member Board of Directors including: Stephen Nelson, Bruce Farman, Anthony Fleming, Charles Grace, J. Peter Mazur, Marc Stokeld and Jim Madison. Jan Billeb serves as Executive Director.

An advisory committee including selected industry leaders and ACGG Regular Members and Associates assists the Board with fundraising ideas and program development.

To further its mission, the Foundation provides:

  • Grant-in-aid scholarships to gunsmithing students to attend the annual seminars and exhibition of members of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild. This program exposes current students to custom firearms and fine custom gunmaking. Application for Student Grant-in-Aid. (Must be postmarked on or before Oct. 1st to qualify for consideration.)
  • Scholarships to gunsmithing students with an interest in custom work.
  • Opportunities for current gunmakers to increase their knowledge and improve their skills.

Individuals and corporations are encouraged to support the Foundation by participating in the Benefactors’ Club.

Thanks to Pete Brownell, Brownells, Inc. for his support as an Endowment Benefactor.

Donations to the ACGG Education Foundation are tax-deductible as a charitable contribution.
